Doll Domination

If you were reading my blog or have at least spent more than two shopping moments with me, you would have known by now that I've always had this knack for small trinkets and fancy stuff. Read: mga walang kabuluhang abubots and clutter.

Now I have a new addition to my trinkets addiction.

Have you met ChiChi? Probably not.

ChiChi is a Chinese doll I bought in Shanghai a few months back. She's so cute, no?
I've always loved these wooden kind of dolls. They look so delicate yet so posh.

Now you wouldn't believe how happy I was when I found this:

I found Kayo!!! Okay, maybe you can't exactly feel my ecstasy. That's fine. I understand. Pang obsessed lang cguro. Haha.

Kayo is one of the many Kimmidolls made by TAG. Ang tagal ko na silang hinahanap!
These Japanese Kokeshi dolls were originally crafted by peasant farmers in Japan during the 19th century. Not just an art, kasi they are made as tokens for Love and Friendship. Now that's nice.

Each Kimmidoll represents life's value and meaning.
Kayo here represents Beauty.

The other Kimmidolls:
They look so adorable I want them all!

I ♥ BB

Someone's keeping me busy and up all night...

Oh, I meant SOMETHING.

Finally, after two months, I got my BlackBerry. I originally wanted the Bold 9000 but its taking forever for Zain to have it on stock so I just settled for the Curve 8520. Not as flashy as the former but equally cool. I love it!

Now if I could just find all the applications I need.....paging Rk!

*btw, just in case someone sues me over copyright, this is not my actual unit. got this pic from somewhere coz I couldnt take a decent pic of my baby :DPin It

Bummer

Woke up craving for Chickenjoy, Twister fries and small puto from Goldilocks. I can't believe it's been almost a week since I came back from my leave.
I had a heavy heart when I was leaving Manila last Monday. It was just one day after typhoon Ondoy left and you could just imagine the terrible state the country was in. Quoting my friend; "nasalanta to the maximum level ang Manila". Very true.
My sister, who lives in Pasig lost almost everything. The whole house was submerged in deep, murky water and they were not able to save anything. They just took refuge from a neighbor's house. It was heart wrenching. I wish I can stay longer so I can help them clean up and move things around. Hay.

Kainis ka naman kasi, Ondoy.Pin It
